Regular Agenda:

1.            Staff informed the Board that there was an error in the terminology of the assessment language of Exhibit “B” of the Resolution calling for the Mill Levy Election.  The “value” reflected the residential phase in value not the taxable market value and after working with the State and local election officials, it was determined that the ballot language of Exhibit “B” could not be modified because the ballots had been printed in final form.  Staff informed the Board that another special meeting would have to be held on the issue of whether or not to postpone the election presently set for November 4, 2008.  The Board set another special meeting for September 19, 2008 at 8:30 p.m.  There was no public comment for this item.

Submitted for review and approval at the regular November Board meeting.
