SOURDOUGH RURAL FIRE DISTRICT MINUTES May 15, 2006 The Regular Meeting of the Sourdough Rural Fire District was informally convened at 7:40 PM for the purpose of viewing the informational videos in production by Dennis Carlson, which were endorsed by the Trustees present. The meeting was formally called to order at by Chairman Kraft at 8PM. Present were Trustees Bachman and Larimer and Chief Crandell. Agenda Review: Due to absence of pressing business and full compliment of Trustees the meeting moved quickly forward through the agenda. Financial Report: Financial report was presented and moved for approval and to pay warrants >$500 by Bachman and seconded by Larimer; Passed without objections. Minutes: Bachman moved for approval of the April minutes; Larimer seconded and passed without objection. Community Outreach Report: Consisted of the videos viewed prior to the call to order. Chief’s Report: The Chief’s report was presented and placed in the record. It was noted that the South 3rd Station has been disqualified as a precinct #23 polling location due to ADA deficiencies. The replacement polling location is on the MSU Campus, at the stadium. Service Assessment: Discussion was largely deferred until the June meeting. Rae-Sourdough, interlocal agreement: The Rae Service Area trustess are meeting on May 26 to sign the agreement. Budget Preparation, fy 06-07: A preliminary budget figure of $343,036.90 is to be submitted to the Treasurer’s office. The final budget amount will be determined based on assessed valuation and mil-levy value provided by the Treasurer’s office next month. Bachman will submit the form to the Treasurers office with all Trustee signatures by 5/26/06. Bozeman Watershed Project: The Gallatin NF will issue a new scoping notice in June. Bachman will continue to represent SFD in this matter. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 PM. ____________________________________ _________________________________
